As Senior Project Manager you will lead the safe and successful delivery of multiple complex construction projects across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple construction projects to agreed safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary construction team and external contractors.
• Own project governance including programme planning, risk management, reporting, and cost control.
• Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations, H&S legislation, planning conditions, and environmental permits.
• Oversee procurement strategy, contract selection, and purchase order approvals.
• Act as Client under CDM, ensuring robust safety leadership across all sites.
• Maintain strong relationships with utilities, regulators, landowners, and other stakeholders.
• Provide construction input to development, operations, and commercial teams.
• Support due diligence activities on potential acquisitions.
• Ensure smooth project handover to operations with minimal defects or outstanding issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) or equivalent.
• Proven track record delivering complex construction projects within energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of contract procurement and administration.
• Understanding of H&S legislation, CDM, planning, and environmental permitting.
• Experienced people manager with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commercially astute with experience managing capital budgets and cost reporting.
• Full UK driving licence.
