OXBO are working with a pure-play pan-European data centre developer who are looking to add a development manager to their team in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating opportunities and progressing data centre developments across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of data centre development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
• Drive land acquisition strategy, negotiating complex agreements and securing long-term site control.
• Manage planning and permitting processes, including high-level engagement with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Direct grid connection strategy, working with internal specialists and external partners to secure robust infrastructure solutions.
• Provide strategic input into site selection, master planning, and technical feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with the internal finance team to shape investment models and assess project viability.
• Lead due diligence for acquisitions and partnerships, coordinating with legal, technical, and financial advisors.
• Oversee project governance, including budget control, risk management, compliance, and reporting to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Data Centre, Renewable Energy, or Infrastructure development.
• Proven experience in working on complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Degree in Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, or a related field;
• Deep understanding of land negotiations, planning & permitting frameworks and grid connection processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at senior levels.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular travel across tEurope
