They’re now building out a proprietary algorithmic trading business focused on the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency markets. Their core activities involve designing, developing, and deploying automated trading strategies across major exchanges with a focus on highly-liquid spot and derivatives instruments. We are building a technology-driven trading platform that emphasizes speed, reliability, and scalability.
They are seeking a highly experienced C++ Software Engineer with a deep background in low-latency trading systems, market-making infrastructure, and crypto exchange connectivity. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building ultra-efficient, high-performance, real-time systems for financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical roadmap, architecture decisions, and best engineering practices.
- Design and develop high-performance, low-latency trading systems using modern C++ (C++17/20 or later).
- Optimize system performance, including latency reduction, throughput enhancements, lock-free programming, and efficient memory management.
- Build and maintain market-making algorithms, order routing logic, reference dataand inventory/risk management components.
- Develop and maintain connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges, including FIX, WebSocket, REST, and proprietary protocols
- Implement real-time market data ingestion, normalization, and processing pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with quant researchers, traders, and DevSecOps engineers to translate strategy requirements into production-ready software.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, simulation, and profiling to ensure stability and speed under high load.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues in live high-frequency environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in C++ systems development.
- Extensive experience with low-latency, high-throughput, real-time systems in financial markets (HFT, market making, prop trading, or similar).
Demonstrated expertise in:
- Lock-free and concurrent programming
- Multi-threading, CPU architecture, and instruction-level optimization
- Network programming (TCP/UDP, kernel-bypass technologies a plus)
- Memory optimization and custom allocators
- Strong understanding of market microstructure, order books, and market-making workflows.
- Hands-on experience integrating with crypto exchanges and handling real-time
- market data feeds.
- Familiarity with Linux systems programming, performance tuning, and low-level debugging tools.
- Experience working in a latency-sensitive production environment
