Summary
Our client is a fast-growing developer and full-service provider of integrated commercial energy solutions, specialising in large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) for industrial and commercial customers. The business delivers end-to-end projects, covering design, engineering, procurement, construction and optimisation
Following a period of significant growth, they are looking to hire a Head of Project Management to the team to oversee the Project Management function and ensure the successful delivery of PV and BESS projects.
The Role
- Lead and develop the project management team for PV and BESS projects.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning and design through to execution, commissioning, and handover.
- Establish and improve project management standards, processes, and governance structures.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and grid connection teams.
- Support strategic planning and resource allocation across the project pipeline
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within PV, battery storage, or broader renewable energy infrastructure.
- Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Industrial or Energy Engineering)
- Strong track record of delivering large-scale, complex technical projects end-to-end.
- Experience leading or mentoring project teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of EPC processes, grid connection, and energy project delivery.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets, risks, and contractual obligations.
- Strong German and English language skills.
